Structural Design
Steel Band: Typically made of stainless steel or carbon steel, the surface is treated, such as sanding and polishing, to increase friction and corrosion resistance. The steel band is generally 8mm wide and about 0.6mm thick, with evenly distributed perforations. Common groove shapes include rectangular holes and willow leaf holes, facilitating screw insertion and tightening.
Screws and Worm Gear Mechanism: Screws are generally hexagonal head with a Phillips or slotted recess, matching the corresponding screwdriver for convenient operation. The screw threads of the worm screw mesh with the grooves of the steel band. By turning the screw, the worm gear drives the steel band to tighten or loosen, thus achieving tightening or loosening of the pipe, with a large adjustment range.
Features
Compact and Lightweight: Due to its narrow steel band width, the overall size is relatively small and the weight is light, making it very convenient for use in space-constrained situations, facilitating installation and removal.
Moderate Tightening Force: Although the small American clamp is small in size, it can still provide sufficient tightening force to ensure the sealing and stability of the pipe connection, suitable for pipe systems with not particularly high pressure and diameter.
Low Cost: Compared to large American clamps or other special types of clamps, small American clamps have a relatively simple manufacturing process and lower material costs, resulting in a more affordable price. This makes them advantageous in cost-sensitive applications.

Application Areas
Household Piping Systems: Can be used to connect tap water pipes, gas pipes, and drainage pipes in homes, such as kitchen sink drains, toilet water inlet pipes, and gas pipes for gas water heaters, ensuring tight pipe connections and preventing leaks.
Automobiles and Motorcycles: Used in the cooling, fuel, and intake systems of automobiles and motorcycles to connect various rubber and plastic pipes, such as engine coolant pipes, fuel pipes, and air filter intake pipes. They can withstand the vibration and pressure during vehicle operation, ensuring the normal operation of the piping system.
Industrial Equipment: Used in small industrial equipment or instruments, such as small water pumps, fans, and compressors, to connect pipes and fittings, providing tightening and sealing to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
